Adults

Are you suffering from anxiety, stress, depression, grief, loneliness, trauma or bereavement. I’m here to help.

Are you having mood swings, undergoing a big change, having harmful thoughts or withdrawing from things that used to make you happy? Maybe you’re feeling like you’ve lost control or you’d just like someone to talk to?

I want you to know that it’s really OK to be not OK, it happens to all of us. And it’s OK to ask for help. If you’re struggling with your own sense of self or others around you, then please do reach out, I would like to help.

A safe space

I provide a safe, accepting and confidential space for you to talk through whatever brings you to counselling. You may have a personal goal that you want to achieve from the sessions. Or it may be just about having somewhere where you can say things out loud and start to own how you are feeling.

You may have an area of your life that you’re keen to explore, or perhaps you’re less sure and that's fine too. Quite often you don’t know what it is, but you feel like there’s something wrong, or missing or troubling you.

As a person-centred therapist, I will always be led by the client as you’re the expert on you! I’ll be guided by what you choose to explore. Psychotherapy at one of my three locations in Nottingham can offer new perspectives, experiences and awareness, enabling you to discover and understand parts of your life that might have been out of reach.

You’re the expert

I'm not a scary counsellor by any means. I'm naturally warm, non-judgemental and friendly and I help clients be free of the things that are holding them back. I can offer you the time, space and freedom to talk confidentially and feel listened to and supported.

Finding a counsellor in Nottingham who feels right for you is important, so I offer a free initial appointment up to 30 minutes with no obligation. Then we can meet up and see how we might work together. This can be in person or online from wherever you are in the UK via Zoom. It’s up to you.

I welcome any enquiries and will do my best to answer any questions you might have. If I am unable to provide a service that feels right for you I might be able to offer you information on alternative services. You deserve empathy and compassion. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
