Hi. My name is Natalie Parks and I would very much like to work with you to explore your feelings and thoughts in a warm, safe, confidential, non- judgmental space.
I know that looking for a counsellor can be quite daunting, particularly when life already feels overwhelming. But talking to a counsellor like me can help you feel listened to and understood.
How It Works
Finding a therapist that feels right for you is important, so I offer a free initial appointment online up to 30 minutes with no obligation.
We can talk about what you would like to get out of counselling and if you’re happy we’ll set up a second session. You decide.
Then we can meet up in Nottingham, or we can do it all remotely via a Zoom call wherever you are in the country – it’s up to you.
I am a person-centred therapist and my approach trusts you, the young person. I recognise that you are the expert on yourself and what you need to live a happy and fulfilled life. So I don’t try to change your thinking or tell you what to do.

I attended boarding school and was a full-boarder from the age of 11 to 18. I’ve spent time in my own personal therapy and part of my MA dissertation processing how this has affected my relationships with my family, friends and loved ones from a teenager through to adulthood.
